Warning: Great irony in this.

So, I was a bit impatient to play the DLC for Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia and got a Season Pass from that ISO site.

However, now I've got the funds to buy from the eShop legitimately (which I've been planning to do so from the very start but impatience was strong).

I delete the DLC via Settings Data Management. Load up the game, connect to the internet and I'm about to buy the DLC but I'm not asked to pay for it. My problem here is that I want to pay for it, but the system says I can't. -_-;

The ironic question: how am I able to pay for the DLC?

I bought the gamecart, sysNAND is 9.2, o3DS but I run Luma Emu 11.4. I haven't updated to bootstrap yet though (or whatever is the latest thing that happened after November 2016).

Thanks for the speedy reply!

I've got FBI 1.3.8. How do I go about deleting it?
You need to install the latest version of FBI, which is 2.4.8. Open the latest version, go to Tickets, find the title ID for the DLC of Echoes (0004008C001B4000 for US, 0004008C001B4100 for EU), press A -> Delete Ticket.

Then try again.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

@Maximumbeans, I had a friend who had a glass chess set for their birthday.

It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.

    That sounds really cool
