Gaming Psp fucking charges through usb even though told not to

I recently hacked my PSP 3004 and managed to get a few games. But when I was copying a big one over the PSP decided to start charging, my games folder got corrupt and I lost all my saves
It's still charging for some reason when I plug it into my laptop. Yes, I've turned off USB Charge
I'm using Infinity w/ LME CFW

make sure to turn off USB charging in the recovery menu as well!

USB charge plugin MUST be disabled both in the plugins menu on recovery mode and in the systems settings as well, check that out...

Though I've personally never had any issues for transfering games while it's charging. is your pro duo legit with magicgate enabled?

it turned out the usb is faulty, and I have to hold the cable in a certain way or files won't transfer
