Gaming PSP Fat Battery Question (1800 mha)

hey,
i'm stuck, once again, with my battery.
the weird thing is that the battery works, but it has a totally different circuit board than all the battery's i've seen in all the tutorials i've read. basically i want to hardmod my battery, but i don't know how. that chip that i'm supposed to mod is not on the board.
i bought the psp off from ebay, and teh seller said that she sent it to a modding shop to get it done there. do you guys know if those modding shops change the whol board on the batteries? there's also grey stuff soldered over the legs of almost every chip...

i don't know what to do xD

couldn't get a better pic of it, but you'll get the idea if you compare it to other pics...

EDIT: nevermind, found better pics on imageshack... thats the battery i have, any ideas how to mod that one?
