I got my hands on a PSP today and it has 6.31 is it possible to get permanent cfw? Or should I use the 6.60 temp hack?

I haven't modded a PSP in 9 years so I'm kinda lost on this scene on what I should do.

There's 6.61 Infinity CFW now and that's permanent. I've heard some 6.60 plugins don't work on 6.61 though.

Is it safe tough, does it have a higher brick chance? And plugins aren't a issue, I just play ps1/PSP/ and some home brew I don't do cheats or themes and stiff just basic function.

Does infinity require anything afterwards to run games? Or so I need to put pro-c afterwards. Or does infinity just work

Nah it's easy. Just follow the tutorial that's included

Alright I read a bit, last question. Between LME and PRO which is better?

I think I should check wololo for that answer, I just want to make sure I get the one that has more psx support as PSP and homebrew should work fine on both

Not really, I'm looking for a definitive answer.

I don't plan on using online features
All I'm doing is emulating some handheld systems
Using converted psx games
PSP CSO and iso games

Of what I'm easing is right both pro or lme should do the job right?

It's all a matter of opinion. Pro seems to be the most popular. That's what I use. Just take a look at the features of each cfw and decide what you like best. You can always uninstall and try the other if you don't like it.

I've heard that pro does better psx emulation. Not sure if it's true or old info though

That's all I needed to hear, I'll use pro . it's what my go uses I think. I set it up years ago lol. And I find it to small for my hands that's why I got a 3000.
