Gaming ps3 and usa game and instruments

Hi

Does anyone know if a Band Hero complete instrument set with game brought in the USA, will work on an english brought playstation 3. I have read somewhere that it should be fine it's only blu ray discs that might have problems.

Any replys would be appreciated.
