PS1/2 Ps2 Multitap Error

I have a slim PS2 Multitap, but it won't work with my fat PS2. Is there a way to fix this so it fits into the ports?

The Slim adapters simply don't fit in phatty PS2s, they aren't compatible. AFAIK there's nothing you can do to "fix it", the only thing you can do is buy one that's actually compatible with your PS2.

Remove the screws from the connectors and put them both in the controller and memorycard port. They are very loose, but it works.
At least, I modified my ps2 fat multitap for my slim ps2 this way and was able to play bomberman hardball with friends.
