I picked up a PSP a few months ago, but it came with a 3rd party 1200mah battery (lower than the usual 1600mah). Obviously it doesn't last long considering it is not made by Sony and the lower capacity. It lasts about 40 minutes. So I ordered a 3600mah battery, still not by Sony, but I thought I would get a lot more juice out of it. I plugged it in and after a few seconds the power LED started flashing in an irregular pattern. So I thought maybe it continues to charge once it's full. I left the console on for a while until the battery was completely drained, and I plugged it in again. It charged for about 10 minutes, and started blinking again. So I played with the charger plugged out for about 15 minutes and it suddenly shut off, even though the battery level read 48%. What's strange is that the two batteries look the exact same, they're both 3.6v, and the only difference is the capacity, of course. But the 1200mah battery wasn't faulty in any way, it just had less run time, expectedly. But now the 3600mah battery only plays for 15 minutes? So now i'm thinking should I continue to charge, or am I at risk of destroying the battery/console?

Illinois is working to ban toxic food additives that have been banned for decades in other countries; additives that can be replaced and all those countries still have Skittles and Mountain Dew. Title of the piece: GUBMINT WANTS TO TAKE AWAY YOUR CANDY

@Veho, Sounds and smells like bullshit. They don't give you cancer, and California should know that. I don't get why they stick labels that say "may or may not cause reproductive harm or cancer".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Arsenic doesn't give you cancer either.
