Homebrew [PROBLEM] Homebrew App Store not downloading apps

Hi
I helped a friend of mine installing CBHC with the new hax for 5.5.2 that I won't search for its name now :3
Everything went ok
But when he opened the Homebrew App Store, every app which he didn't download appeared but with a red X icon and when he tries to download and clicks the green "get" button, it didn't show the download bars and just returned to the menu with the apps, just as it would do after a successful download, except it didn't download (no download bars appeared) and it doesn't show up on the Hombrew Launcher.
He has the appstore folder in apps folder in the SD card which works perfectly
In my Wii U the app store works just as always so it's not a server problem

Did you check if the Lock Switch on the SD Card enabled? If the switch is enabled, the locks the SD Card and it becomes write protected. So that could be the reason why its not downloading anything to the SD Card.

possible issues are SD card . but you say this is ok
there is a cache folder in your appstore directory ? if so whats in it ?
Also make sure theres no .elf files in sd:/wiiu/apps/ .

IT TURNS OUT THAT HE TURNED THE SWITCH OFF O.O HE THOUGH IT WILL MAKE THE CARD STICK TO THE WII U AND NOT GO OUT
IM SO SORRY THAT I'VE WASTED UR TIME CAUSE OF MY DUMBASS FRIEND XD (we are not close to each other, im at my home and i talk to him though discord lul)

Its ok. lol. We all make mistakes every now and then, no matter how big or small.

HOWEVER, for him to believe that the switch does that, he must be a very special person. LOL.

The thing is idk when he did it, because he could put files successfully when he was on PC.
Well everything works and tomorrow I'll guide him to install wuphax
