You also have filetrip for anything related to this forum.

I've got files on my Mediafire account that haven't had any downloads since 2010 and they're still up.

Regarding Pokemon, wouldn't Distribution files rather than saves be preferable?

Pokémon games are pretty much taken care of at this point regarding saves (dunno though about the online component part)

Pokemon is completely taken care of. All the games have been hacked and you can download files for Event Pokemon/Items. The Pokemonx community is crazy so they probably have all the spinoff games Wi-Fi stuff preserved as well.

Dragon Quest IX is also completely taken care of as the game has a save editor including all the DLC stuff.

Is Phantasy Star 0 taken care of? Does it have any online exclusive items that can't be obtained through Wifi or singleplayer?

Also, is this project considered complete?

here's a true professor layton save back _this_ one doesn't include save files that have _anything_ but the first puzzle done and all of the wifi puzzles on them thus it should be _insanely_ easy to hack them to find out the keys/flags. Some don't even have _any_ puzzles done only the absolute minimum required to be able to save the file, anyway here you all go.

all weeklies no spoilers really I hope or at least the minimum for others to use but anyway yeah I hope everyone can enjoy it.

I don't really think so.

While DLC server data has been backed up for (at least 97%) of the following games in a custom server (so that you can patch your game and connect to those servers normally to download DLC):
List

The games that have content that can't be unlocked unless you connect to multiplayer
All DSi games (DLC and multiplayer) :(
Most online multiplayer games
Most Wii games

still haven't been backed up.

I see, thanks for the info.

I notice that Heroes of Mana is missing from the DLC list. I thought that game has Wifi Bonus Maps you could download. I'm not totally sure though.

You should contact Nagato then, or post in the main Wi-fi preservation thread.
Seems Square Enix games use a different DLC server..
I sent them lots of overlay images including that one for the urls. Dunno how it's progressing...

Do these save files work with retail carts? If so, how would one go about getting it to work?

You need to buy a suitable device such as NDS Apdater Plus by EMS (which I can personally recommend) or DS backup gold (don't know much about this one). There are others out there but I have no experience with them.

I've got a Last Specter save file with all puzzles downloaded and all WiFi only items in London Life. I'm about 6-7 days into London Life and 10-15 minutes into the main game.

Really good thinking :)
Those Wi-fi only items wouldn't have been preserved if not for this. Also thanks a lot to the other generous members who shared with us various Layton saves.
It's too late now, but you did help a lot
