Pop'n DS (BMDS)

I am trying to play this game on my dsi (and have also tried on my ds lite). I downloaded the game BMDS, then went and downloaded the musicboxv7. I put the .nds file in the root of my acekard 2i and the music files folder in my BMDS folder. I try to play the game, but no audio. The video is just fine. When I launch the game, I keep getting the message,

"Yasu software - BMDS
http://www.usay.jp/
init
can't load 12u."
I can hit the "A" button and get the game to launch, but no sound. The bottom screen printout gives me an "Error: (name of .wav file) for all the wav files.

How can I get the .wav files to actually play

I got it to work correctly.
Apparently you have to put all the files in the BMDS folder. (The .bms/.pms, .wav and the .nds)

Though I think it's somewhat late (4 years later from the last post!)

Pressing SELECT while loading the song(=right before the actual game) toggles HI-SPEED option.

After that, press up and down to change speed.
