I just got my hands on a fat PS2. There's a problem with it though, which is the noisy fan. I had a PS2 when I was a kid and I can't recall it ever being that loud. So I'm thinking about replacing the fan with another one.
I've seen some guides where they use a generic 60mm fan and modify it and it seems to work pretty well. Although I don't like the ghetto look that comes with it. So I was looking at ebay, found this http://www.ebay.com/itm/P4PM-Intern...231052?hash=item5d59200c4c:g:oHIAAOSwu4BVmkxc.
Now, does anyone have any experience with these cheap chinese fans? Are they quieter than the original one?
Or better yet, anyone who can point me in the right direction where I can find a quiet replacement fan?
