I know that normally playing from and HDD has many more advantages, and not all wiis can actually run DVDs. Anyway, if we compare the compatibility of running a game from HDD with Dios Mios and running a game from a DVD-R that have burned (I don't actually know the method to run games from DVD-R), which one would provide better results? If DVDs have better results, I may consider switching.

HDD all the way. Running from DVD gives near (but less than) Dios Mios compatibility, but with a much higher chance of games freezing, particularly on say movie intros - you'll be lucky to get more than 30 seconds out of those on a dvd. Also audio streaming still doesn't work.

Devolution > Dios Mios > DVD > Nintendont..... And I'll put a tenner on Nintendont not being in that position for that much longer either...
