Gaming Osu! - Score submission failed. Retrying in x minutes.

I get this error message. I can access the in-game chat and leaderboards without a problem. The number keeps doubling every time. As I keep playing more and more songs, the instances of this toast increase as well, since the game can't upload any scores.

It'll try to resubmit your scores until the next resubmit happens in 64 minutes or so, then it just gives up entirely and your score is lost IIRC.

oh, okay. thanks for letting me know that Twitter exists. now I know it's not a problem on my side.
