Woah. My friend was at an internet cafe with me a while ago and she wanted to test a DS game for me to put onto my R4. So I'm like download No$GBA emu, works alright. We go to the download page, and we have to Pay? xD

It's always been like that, I remember as a kid (parents wouldn't let me buy a Gameboy..) I had NO$GMB (for Pokemon Blue) and every time I loaded it up there were 4-5 screens asking for a donation, and I'm pretty sure there was a 'pro' version or something similar offered for a small fee.

This was, what, 1998?

i know, but it was actually meant as a debugger for gba roms (a useful tool for programmers), but they build in a compatibility for commercial ds games; most people use it as an emulator to play the games with.
