I'm looking for the following information on NTRBoot flashcards:
  • Clones of supported cards
  • Flashable cards which have the potential to be flashed
  • Cards with a ROM which will never be supported
  • Whether these cards are clones or not
Thanks!

Flashable
These are cards which have the potential to work with NTRBoot

Compatible
- Acekard 2i HW-44
- Acekard 2i HW-81
- R4i Gold 3DS RTS (r4ids variant)
- R4 3D Revolution (r4idsn variant)
- R4i 3DS (r4ids variant) (clone)
- R4i Gold 3DS Deluxe Edition (r4ids variant) (clone)

Planned
- R4 SDHC Dualcore (In progress)
- DSTT (In progress)
- Supercard DS2

Possible
- Supercard DSOne i
- Supercard DSOne i mini
- R4i DS Happy Box 2.0 (clone)
- R4i DS Happy Box 2.0 3DS (clone)

Don't go waiting for these to be supported - they probably won't be!

Not Flashable
These are cards which will never work with NTRBoot

Not working
- Supercard DSOne
- Supercard DSOne SDHC
- R4 Revolution for NDS/NDSL
- R4 Neo (clone)

To check for a working NTRBoot card clone, run NTRBoot flasher. If it shows up as another supported card (Acekard or R4i cards), it's a clone.

Remember that flashing NTRBoot to a clone will possibly result in a brick. For this reason, the supported cards listed on https://github.com/kitling/ntrboot_flasher will be the only cards officially supported.

The r4i ds happy box 2.0 has potential but is an old card so people will not work on it. Then there is the r4 neo not r4i neo which just has a ROM and reads the ds menu.DAT from SD card. Then the original r4 has a ROM. And also the r4i ds happy box 2.0 3ds supported variant could work but is old and will likely not be worked on.

Those R4 cards are clones, yes?

Ask the devs lol, we have no idea.
Considering that it was announced on May 31 and was released near the end of August (2 months) and in the end, three cards were supported, I'd imagine perhaps another 2 months? That's just my guess though, it could be much longer. I'd say just buy a supported R4.

I'd assume not too long myself. :b They know what they're doing. I'll just wait.

so your saying that a DSTT MIGHT be able to work? Because thats all I got at the moment, I have no money right now to buy online and get insurance on one of the ones that are supported unless someone knows locally (in the San Diego or Tijuana Area) where I can get one.

if so, whats the ETA on that? or how would it even work since the DSTT never worked on my 3DS, even after puting CFW

It is possibly compatible, which is very different from "it's coming soon"
It may not even come out yet
The devs have not started work on it yet, there is not an ETA yet
The flashcard blacklist is not enabled on the bootrom

I think only DSTTi version is able to use with the hax. Since original DSTT doesn't have NAND.
Not sure the one on nds-card.com is the original one or DSTTi.
