I know its possible to use customs tracks on isos.. Lol. I wanted to know if we could use mrbeans ctgp tracks in a iso and be able to play with others that are using the Rivo version of the ctgp..

Simms will know what I'm talking about.

Edit: I'm talking about merging these into a iso http://www.mariokartwii.com/f99/ctgp-revolution-1-02-0003-beta-no-61493.html

Up until now, The only way to use mrbeans ctgp online is to use rivo.

For other versions the script 'patch-1020003.*' must be fixed.

Theses scripts are only for NTSC-U.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    1.) Install wit tools: http://wit.wiimm.de

2.) Copy the CTGPR pack into this directory (only 'mkwii' is needed).

3.) Copy a backup of the original "Mario Kart Wii" in this directory.
Supported image formats: iso, wbfs, wdf, wia, ciso

4.) If you don't want to modify your game simply click on "createautomatic-usa".
For Linux and Mac users just click on "create-usa.sh"

The scripts for windows will create a ISO image. If you want another type,
edit the script with a text editor an change the line: IMAGE_TYPE=iso

For Linux and Mac users This will create a WBFS file instead.

5.) You found the new image in the sub directory 'new-image'

    Have fun.

-If you want to install texture hacks and custom music, follow until step #3

5.) Copy and replace files without deleting any of the current file in the same place the original file is.

6.) Optional: If want to add CTGP at this point just click on "Add-CTGP".

7.) Finally click on "compose-usa" to compress iso.

8.) You found the new image in the sub directory 'new-image'

    Have fun.

Are you able to connect with those that are using the official rivo ctgp ? Underneath the worldwide option, Is there a option to select ctgp ?

Thanks for posting this... I had no idea that it had been converted at all :)

Don't ask me, because I haven't used the current version and I don't support it.

Ok, I get a complete WBFS and put it in the exact right way and it says everything is fine but it keeps hanging at the hold remote sideways. I hit 2 and then the game doesn't advance. Home button works though.

I bet you didn't notice the errors in the batch file window
    * DOL not modified: nsmb.d/sys/main.dol
you have to stick with using slow old riivolution until a working patch is available for USAv1 and whichever version you have.

Patch waiting it is. Riivolution is too convoluted and too slow for me.

You also are not using the original batch file, you made changes but you haven't shared the working file.

But they still not changing the dol, thus failing to patch despite the removal of the Files Differ message.

Cannon and Summer Sun hang on the "press 2" screen, because they are both failing to be properly patched.

Those two file differ messages are expected. There are three patches. One for Pal, one for NTSC, and one for Japan. Unless you have a disc that is all three of these at the same time, two of the patches will fail and one will work. If you're running the US version the PAL will differ, the USA will patch and the Japan will differ. The two differ messages are expected. Run the patch, ignore the differ messages and try running the resulting file. It works. Try it.

If you've tried it and it doesn't work there's something wrong with your original image, you're running the wrong patch version or you're not waiting long enough.

They all work fine for me as well using latest program and usaV1 of the game.

From what i understood the message about the dol not modified is because it is trying to apply all versions of the patch(P,J,E) to the iso file and when it sees the patch is different then the version of the iso your using you get the message about it not being patched.

Someone correct me if i am wrong please.
