I just got a ps3 and popped in some ps1 games, re2 and tenchu....they look terrible. 47 inch HDTV and I tried toggling the settings and looked bad either way.
Would they look this bad on a ps1too?
I have played wii and wii u vc nes and snes games and they seem to look just fine to me on this same tv, why do ps1 games look so jarringly bad to me?
Does ps3 just do a bad job with these games?
I was searching around and saw some one advise going in to settings and turning off 1080p and 720p and setting to 4:3 output to disable the upscaling. I am going to give this a try and hopefully it will make a difference.
