Ummm...why don’t they ask Apple for assistance in converting their domestic factories to support the production of OLED displays? Apple does that all the time. Example: forking over billions to a company to ramp up their production of sapphire for upcoming development of the iPhone. Apple would definitely give them the money to help them out. Apple doesn’t want to be as reliant on one company like Samsung for their parts. Which is why they sourced half of their business to LG for the upcoming iPhone 8 displays. More suppliers is always a good thing. It’s stupid for this company to throw in the towel so easily without leveraging Nintendo and Apple. Both of them would assist them. I mean, look at the Switch. Do you really think Nintendo wants their only screen supplier shutting down production facilities in their first year of production of the Switch? No. Nintendo would pay in advance to keep this supplier financially solvent to avoid the bottleneck in output. Maybe they really should close after all. They’re being run by absolute idiots.
