It was announced today that Pokémon Shuffle is available on the Japanese iOS and Android stores so that's a step closer to bringing their retro, DS and maybe in a few years time 3DS games to the mobile market. Granted, it is touchscreen but people can use wireless gaming controllers.

I'm starting to like this new Nintendo already as they're trying things they never did before. :)

Wait, wasn't Pokémon Shuffle the Nintendo remake of Bejeweled? Why a controller would be even supported in a game like this?

Umm, why would you want to use a gaming controller with it? It's a game that exclusively uses the 3DS touchscreen.

No, not that. For 3DS games that would only work properly with a controller.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Isn't Pokémon Shuffle Genus Sonority and The Pokémon Company though? Nintendo didn't have anything to do with this spinoff IIRC.
It is still part of Nintendo, though.
