Just did this by overwriting marios model pointers in the dol with the data we have from robo mario and it seems to work fairly well. this is basically a special nintendont file with a massive hardcoded patch in the file TRI.c where the other gp2 patches are located. now for you to try I did write down its essence into a big gecko cheat code you can use without modifying nintendont! Here is the .gct file you can use directly:

Cool, do think it would be possible to race as the trackside models in Daisy Circuit?
or the vehicles from Moonview Highway / Coconut Mall.

I want to play Zelda four sword adventure but this need GBA to play in group, there is a way to cheat the game and make use controls NGC?
Big nope. You need the second screen anyway. The only other way around this is using Game Boy Players, a really weird but cool setup, by the way.

So Im trying to play F-Zero AX with my Wii U Pro Controller, but I cant get past the calibration thing at the beginning.
I dont really have any other controllers I can use at the moment, so is there a way around this?
It works for me everytime. Maybe a controller or iso issue?

Well that's strange my save for gp2 just self destructed under 4.407 my name entry blank, coins gone and no unlocks.
It's saving my progress now with this blank name entry and everytime I try to update to 4.410 it's giving me error -3.

OK well I have both F-Zero AX and GX up and running. My next question... Am I able to unlock the AX exclusives with Nintendont?

I use vWii so I dont have access to an actual Memory Card, but my card emulation is set to multi. I started up GX, created garage data and all that, then loaded up AX. my license data is still there but it says there is no memory card inserted. I looked at my save folder and it loos like save data for Triforce games is stored seperately, even when multimemory is on. is there some sort of patch or workaround to force it to load the GX data?

EDIT: So apparently I have a NTSC-J copy of AX, and Im guessing the save data is not region free. Does anyone know if there is an NTSC-U dump of the game available? I'm not asking for a link, Im just wondering if one even exists since I know the machine is basically non-existent at this point

Turn off multimemory
Use Individual the game will work after that.

somebody asked the exact same thing just 2 pages ago and I did answer this already.

considering that it needs 2 screens becuase when someone enter some house or cave the screen goes to the gba it would be rather unplayable since you couldnt actualy see anything with gc controllers.

so I had this on my mind for a couple years now and today I actually went in and looked for it, turns out it was not that hard to do after all :D
-added rumble support to both mario kart arcade gp and gp 2
That was definitely needed, because it would be the closest we would ever get to the Arcade feel for both MKAGPs. Now, if only the game had Wii Wheel support....

A racing wheel that works for gamecube also works for mario kart arcade gp/2. Something like that would have more of a arcade feel than a wii wheel since those have pedals with them.

the error means it's dl the updated files but can't extract it??? I thought the only zip
file was for controllers? Nintendont was launched from hbc on a 8gb fat32 formatted sdcard.

there probably is something wrong with the updater code since we changed the fatfs library, I'll have to go through it again I guess, just update by hand for now.

Is Nintendont on the Homebrew Browser? if not it would really help if it was
for when this happens so we don't have vist our pcs.

dl from github doesn't work with Wiitch or WiiBrowser.

Looks like an error in loader/source/update.c, line 233:

if (f_open_char(&file, filepath, FA_WRITE|FA_CREATE_NEW) != FR_OK) {
FA_CREATE_NEW should be FA_CREATE_ALWAYS; otherwise, it fails if the file already exists.

I remember the days when I used to use the Homebrew Browser because I didn't have a computer. I'm surprised people still use it today.... Does even that get updated? :O

Mine has listv036.txt and latest updates are given as may 29th 2014

The attract mode sound / rolling demo is only partially working for me in mkgp2,
it has sound the second time it runs, up until the announcher says "mario kart arcade gp 2"
in the walugi stadium but then when it shows the demo races it has no sound in donkey kong jungle or yoshi park.
Another oddity too is it doubles up the audio sometimes playing the same audio track twice you can hear the delay in the second audio track playing slightly behind in the background, noticed it on the third round of the reverse sp screen.

that is normal arcade behavior actually, as you can see in this video.

this very much depends on the device you use, especially with hdds this effect is clear. this game does not have a single stereo track but two mono tracks for the l and r channel. if your device has a "long" seek time then the l channel will already be loaded and the r channel will start a little later, nothing I can do about it.
