Hacking Nintendo 2DS and R4i Gold, can I play DS games on it?

I personally have two R4i 3DS Gold carts, one new RTS, and one old "bad Rev C" stuck on a Dorasu icon, and won't update further. So I use it for my DSi, and the new cart for my 6.1U 2DS.
