I guess, not the first time i done this. Played snes dragonball z with no english, as well as some nes, and genesis games. I beat 2 games on 3DS with no english text, and no guide either. :P

Besides is a fighting game, the action is where is at, not reading stuff. :D

I didn't even consider that game a RPG. The trailers i seen show no details of such things so i dunno. O_O

I would have done the same thing. Even though a new version has a bit more functionality, the old version is very different, and plays the same library anyway. And you can use the extra cash for all the new games coming out too.

Actually, since i noticed the new one does have a better wifi network card, i consider getting that, also if games have better performance including faster load times, and consistent frame frate with less issues, most importantly storage upgrade, it might be worth the extra one hundred dollars.

To be honest, the nvidia sheild tv has two models, one with 16 internal storage $200 and 500Gb internal storage $300, i got the 500gb one, WORTH IT! Besides that exactly the same. PS4 pro with enahnced performance, better wifi and 1TB storage, for only $100 More? Take my money please!

Seriously, I will admit mistakes were made and correct them if possible. :P

Excuse me anyone reading this. I have a question about game disc.

I got a game today, and i inserted into the system. I can play it just fine, the thing is the confusing part. When i press information, it says the games data including size which is like 10GB, i didn't know why so i went to my system application management menu and the game says is there in 10GB.

What is confsuing me is that if is a disc then it should be irrlevenat what size the game is cause the data is read from disc not storage. So does it mean the game is installed from disc to storage? I find it hard to believe is true since it loaded instantly and would take some time to install 10GB to storage. I'm not understanding what this means, since it shows up on my system storage as application data when is a disc.

The data is not read from the disc. Game files are installed onto the ps4 from the disc and the disc just acts as a key.

I'm sure it wasn't installed that instant.

Actually, it does. Me too I was confused, but the installation of the game data is exceptionally fast compared to the PS3 (2-3 seconds compared to 30 minutes).
To answer your question, Sonic A. Knight, if you had a PS3, you may remember that each games installed some bit of data on the console (like GTA V, which install like 5 gb of data if my memory serve right). The difference here, is that the game are really huge compared to the PS3. These data are usually used to speed up CD reading and to lessen the work on it. I remember that Project Diva on PS3 had huge loading time, if you didn't download the optional data, also the CD made more noise.

Well i know some games are mandatory to have install data on ps3 like assassians creed, tales of grace, and naruto ultimate ninja storm and metal gear solid 4, then some games have optional install data which clearly states it help reduce load times, like Dead or alive 5, blazblue continumm shift extend, and ultra street fighter iv. The majority of games do not require install data at all.

So you telling me it took only 2 seconds to install over 10GB of data? What is the purpose of buying games on disc if it still installs on system anyway? That means if i don't have enough storage to support the game itself i can't play it at all.

I would least understand if the file size installed is less than the full disc size but if is just the same size then there is no point in using a disc is there? :wtf:

Pretty sure it's just allotting the space. Then installs while you're playing.

Games are still sold on discs because it's the most convenient way to physically sell software to people. Discs are cheap and lightweight.

Games still have to be sold physically because not everyone has a good internet connection. There are a ton of people in the US who don't live in cities. Some of these people have to wait days to download 10GB files.

I see that with reason, but still unless games is released fully functional, is no good considering the need to update is important for fixing games with problems or getting more content with update and dlc. Yes having disc make things easier with just insert and play, still being able to not need to have game on system storage to save space for more relevant things like dlc, updates and digital only content would be nice but if is mandatory just to reduce loading times, it be nice to have the option like it was before for some games.

I was curious, if i wanted to download international... or just those rare japanese exlusive games including ones that may have multilanguage text options in english (JUST for example dead or alive extreme 3) What kind of PSN account should i create? I just wanna try some of the demo that aren't here in the psn i mainly use.
