It barely meets Bioshock Infinite's Recomended specs and it should play GTA5 on low specs at least. The problem with that computer is 1. That price and 2. the company that made it.

If you want to get a gaming computer for cheap build it yourself. I made my own for the same price and hell I bought a $200 GPU for games. Of coarse you have to make sure all the parts are compatible and they all fit but it's all easy.

ok. Can you tell me a recommended site to build a computer with a max budget of 500 not including tax so it can go over the limit slightly.

Newegg like gifi4 but also try amazon. You can get some pretty good deals there.

Are you going to be putting the computer together your self, or are you wanting to be able to pick and choose the parts and have them assembled for you, then shipped to you?

My only comment on that build: wow, I'm surprised they still make drives that small.

Also, I don't see a DVD drive or OS listed.

That harddrive wouldn't work at all, seeing it is IDE.

You need a SATA 3.5 inch Hard drive. The one is picked right now is IDE which is older drive that does not work on newer PC.

Also your CPU is FM1 while your motherboard is FM2. They do not work. You need A8-5500.

You cannot play majority of PC games with Linux.

I'd wait. AMD's new Richland CPU's are arriving in May. They'll have a massive performance boost over Trinity.

Richland is merely a small improvement over Trinity, given that Richland still uses Piledriver core. (Remember Streamroller is delayed).

Richland is a stop gap for delayed Kaveri (which uses Streamroller core).

For about a hundred extra, upgrade your drive to at least 500 GB (160 will NOT cover you.) Get an A8 5500, which will future proof you, and that should be it.

After seeing this, yeah, I'm leaning towards getting one, seeing as I'm getting a good tax refund and all.
