one more thing. I can't read Japenese at all but when u save (second option in start menu) you have to choose the first option on the message it pops up and it will restart. if you don't do that after you start a save you will have to start at the begining of the level. so rember to save everytime u quit. weird.

this game is not worth trying with all his bugs

ps1.2 f2a 128mb cart > backup your saves before playing this game otherwise you'll lose all your save

i would advise you to wait for a more stable version because this one is really troublesome with the saves

erm... i like all mario games (except sunshine) and so i like this one too. i wish i'd never played it before. so i hope the next mario game (besides mario & luigi) will be a brand new mario platformer like super mario world... the gba is my last hope for that.

maybe i start my own company, with 2D consoles and only 2d Games

I'd prefer to play the classic version with PogoNES. That way you can save too.

Not to mention that it is less than 5mbits (if you only flash that one game for pogones/pocketnes)

[edit] As for the amount of ports of nes/snes games to the gba, I guess nintendo is trying to make sure noone will try to emulate snes on the gba

Good, but I don't think I'll be flashing this cause I already have the NES version on, updated graphics and sound which I don't even bother listening to isn't that important to me.

Plust I've played the NES and SNES versions all my childhood

I still love the game, don't get me wrong.

The original Mario Advance 4 cart contains 1mbit of flash rom
for its save data, our version has been fixed to use two 512kbit
and 512M visoly carts. No guarantee is made for other play methods.

The game has been tested for a few levels and no problems were found
saving and reloading the data, the game can be played just like the
original version. We hope you like it as much as we do..

Looks like this game won't work with PogoShell. Be interesting to see which flash carts this actually works with.

I like this game but quite a few levels are WAY too short for my liking. Plus I don't like the fact that I need to do three of four missions before saving the game.

Just to give you guyz an update...

I patched the ROM with the trainer patch out there, uploaded to cart, and beat the game.

Hmm... now saving in Bank 1 works perfectly.

Flash2Advance 256M Cart.

This release is veryyy flaky, I do not suggest those who have other games or saves to install this one.

Just glad I have it working for the moment

Oh yes, is there a pad-combination to get back into a board that you have already completed?

All 3 slots of SMA4 work fine and all the other games save without any problems.

I'm going to die now I can play the sweetest game ever on the go. This is my all time favorite game. Hopefully it's a straight port me don't care about stupid extra features. Eurasia kickass.

this game uses some custom sound exclusive to the GBA Player. It has some damn great sounds on the player. alot of cool dsp effects and all that. Much better then the normal GBA shit sound.
