I think (I haven't downloaded it yet) .. think it's meant to be (Lightforce) not (Lightforge) .. unless it's a new group :-)

Yes, a pointless observation, no comments please :-)

Both the (Lightforce) and (Mode7) releases have the same CRC32 of 7EB2F6D6.

I downloaded both, though which will be listed by PH (www.pocketheaven.com) I don't know as yet.

It is a pity Winning Eleven wasn't released but Konami have two teams making football games and this is the Major A offering. This game is MUCH MUCH better than FIFA, but falls short of Winning Eleven. ISS was always supposed to be more arcade like than Winning Eleven and in that they've succeeded but any football fan craves realism, and while this is good Winning Eleven is just sublime.

But one thing this game does have in it's favour is that all the areas where Winning Eleven falls short, this game shines. Presentation, management and tactics are all fully present in this game, and you can even change tactics mid game. It plays like the N64 versions of ISS, and was made by the same team so these guys know their stuff.

I've also created my first ever patch

This patch will rename the England team and a few other players to their proper names. I just need a way to upload it somewhere if anybody's interested. Special thanks to the guys doing the cybercomics at www.thebornimage.com for helping me identify the players and their names.

I can do that but it'd take me a good day to do, which I don't have

the problem comes with the japanese characters taking up over 50 characters! Very possible to do but time consuming...

i dont know why tv manufactures put the hdmi ports in dumb locations so the cables have to stick out, and then down, putting strain on the ports. Instead of having the ports along the bottom edge of the tv facing downwards.
