I have Neogamma 3,4,7,8b and they all work besides r3. The problem occurs when the application loads it will either freeze on the screen, showing the menu. Or it will glitch into a error message screen, aka Crashed... I noticed the Rev1042 (i believe it said) anyway I searched google as soon i seen it and nothing really much said, someone pointed out in the ghostbusters game but no one replied to that user =/ (this is in the google search). Anyway, thats my problem, and since its been out forever (just got into modding my wii a week ago, fun hobby XD) is there a fix on this?

My wii model is below 64. If that matters? and my firmware is 4.1U

why so many versions? I'm just on 7 still and it seems to do everything needed of it..... does 3 do something the others don't or can you just use the latest release and get what you need?

That's like complaining Windows 3.1 is blue screening on your new laptop. WTF are you running it for anyway?

I can't even imagine how many different copies of 249 you've installed by now.

Run the latest-stable.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.

I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Slightly slower loading but a bit more convenient
