if i flash my ds will i be able to play online?
i have a working wifi connection from my computer to ds
i played demos
do i need a pass me device to flash or can i just use a gba cart and wifime?

Yes.

You'll need a Nopass device like a SuperPass 2 or SuperKey/PassCard3.
