Avira antivir just gave me this:

jr9mbl.jpg

So, is this a false positive or should I be worried.

I'll just quarantine this one and download the latest version from here and see if Avira will still say that it is/has a virus.

I've been a long time user of Avira antivir and NDSTokyoTrim and never had this before!

edit: I tried to download the latest version from the link of OP's post but Avira blocked the download and automatically quarantined the files....

v2.5 beta breaks some roms after trimming. Here's one of them:
(tested on AK2i w/ AKAIO 1.8.6a)

Emily the Strange - Strangerous (E) - 64.0 MB/67,108,864 bytes

After trimming (v2.18) - 53.6 MB/56,250,368 bytes = working
After trimming (v2.5 beta) - 52.5 MB/55,133,320 bytes = not working/white screens

Cant get that rom working, even the original untrimmed.

On what cart? I have the old R4 with latest fw; had also a RPG but doesnt work anymore.

It says "(tested on AK2i w/ AKAIO 1.8.6a)".

According to Amazon:

Special Nintendo DSi Features:
Zonster creator (patchwork monster dolls): Create your very own zonsters and share them with friends
Scan barcodes to unlock more zonster building parts
Secret room with additional puzzles and collectables

Looks like it works trimmed with beta2.

I've noticed that the two betas both put out trimmed roms that are near 1MB larger than 2.18. Any reason for this? Just curious - as that small amount can add up when you have 200-300+ roms.

Any chance we can get an option to change the text color, so that we can still see whats going on if a dark background is used? Color options for the progress bars would be cool too.

A question about this "Auto fix of incorrect trimming from other trimmers" feature...

I was using using DS Scene Tool to apply an AR patch to a rom. I noticed that if I chose to trim it too, it reduced the 65.5 meg rom to 63.9 megs. However, if I just applied the AR patch and then trimmed it with NDS Tokyo Trim 2.18.... it reduced it to 63.1 megs?

I then tried NDS Tokyo Trim 2.5 beta 2 on the AR-only patched rom and it trimmed it to 63.9 megs, exactly the same size (save one byte) as the AR patching program.

Does this mean version 2.18 was trimming too much? I have been using 2.18 for years and just noticed this. If it was trimming too much, will this auto-fix feature also fix the incorrect trimmings, if any, of 2.18? If 2.18 trimmed too much data, how can 2.5b2 possibly restore data that isn't there anymore?

The game used in question was the UK version of Solatorobo.

Yes it is.

Oops then, I have trimmed other games that were DSi enhanced before with 2.18, though so far they haven't crashed or anything in my DS.

I am guessing if it basically removed the DSi mode, this means the auto fix function won't really do anything then?
