Missing the lock on the SD card...
Already glued it right in waiting for it to dry. This is funniest fail I've put myself into. XD
lol dw i have seen loads of people make this mistake "well.......that piece of plastic isn't hooked upto anything so it must do nothing i can just chuck it away........why my nand not write? "
Thing is I was concerned if I forgot something, and than I look at it and it starts yelling at me: "you f____t (foot) forgot about me didn't ya". XD
Got the boot screen but my adapter has to be plugged up to the computer. Computer doesnt detect anything. Card reader by chance? I ordered one from the guide just tried the one i had here.
Defiantly the adapter. My wifes laptop has a build in reader and it worked with no issues.
alguem pode me ajudar eu perdi 3ds C154 poderia me o que capacidade dizer?
My Anker A7612 worked just fine for 2DS.
I use some 5$ reader i picked up at a store for 3ds/xl since all tuts recommend having the reader disconnected from the computer but attached to the DS when you turn the DS on.
Can't really do that with a built-in reader.
hello guy and girls...i've read e downgrade many 3ds nand...but now i've a problem with a bricked 2ds...when power 2ds black screen...for this reason and having original nand i've proved to write it...but after soldering wires e and power on 2ds i haven't classic blue screen...and with my immortal card read not able to identify nand...why? what problem possible??? thanks!
Can't dump my new3dsXL.
I soldered wires on motherboard using manual. I bought necessary card-reader (transcend rpd-8). When i tried to dump - i didn't see any new storage in storage manager (i see label of cardreader, but there is no any storage in it).
my error number:
Then i tryed again with different computers and cartreaders. I had a lot of different "blue-screen" errors (when i'm trying to use different cardreaders), but no luck.
There is list of other errors that i have seen (while the soldering has not changed):
I tryed 3 different computers with different OS (win10/win7/XP).
I checked solder and wires two or three times.
Can anybody help me?
Looks like you've soldered the Clk wrong. It's only the small lower left square pad. I'd recommend soldering on the alternate Clk as shown in the picture I just left. It's easier to solder.
Ok, thnx, i'll try. But i think all clk squares are connected with each other. Am i wrong?
I want to find out if i can use this usb micro connector
For what? To create an external connector on your 3DS? Then it should be allright, as long as you realise that you still need a cardreader, so you can't plug the USB cable straight from your computer to this board.
Cool I've already got my usb to sd card sorted

I have tryed and it's not worked. Still getting "wrong" errors.
I keep trying to dump my nand at about 12%-24% i get error 24 from win32 disk imager. Anyone else have this issue and how did you fix it?
I had a similar problem (with varying percentages at which the dump process failed). I just double checked all soldering on the PCB, re-do it as clean as possible and all went fine
Ill have to go and try to redo it cleaner and see if this fixes it.
Edit: Just ran a continuity check using a multi meter and all my wires checkout straight into the mirco sd card adapter. Could it be that it's my card reader? I'm not using one of the recommended card readers.
It could very well be. I find it strange that the pc recognizes the device and even tries to read it (and even having a successfull start!) to try and blame the card reader. Some small solder traces might be causing the trouble (I had some problems regarding that matter, specially on old 3ds xl...as to why that model, IDK ). So as I said, you lose nothing trying to clean the PCB and soldering as carefully as you can.
I think it might be my connector soldering to be frank. my PCB soldering is pretty clean, but the connector soldering is well... mediocre. xD Here's a picture I took of the soldering.
