Thank god, because i would not buy a console to read or watch novels on it. lol.
If that's the real reason you're saying no RPGs, you're locking yourself out of some very good RPGs that are light on dialogue, dungeon crawlers being a good example. Dungeon Travelers 2 is at the top of my Vita recommendations list.

I just googles Dungeon Travelers 2, and that thing seems loli/hentai stuff, im not playing the vita for that, i really want good games that don't need that in order to achieve their fame. as example Sword Art Online was a good game, Shovel Knight its an AWESOME platform game, with simple graphics, so is Phantom Breakers, as for good graphics "Sky Force Anniversary" its a fun game, despite being a retro shooter.

But o well, you need to accept that RPGS and Visual Novels are not for everyone, and respect the thread if someone said he does not want to, you can easily create a thread with all your favorite JRPG or RPG games ;D

If you don't want turn-based RPGs, it's better to forget about Child of Light. And I can't get why you kept Demon Gaze on the list and took Ray Gigant away, as they are both Dungeon Crawlers.

But as you don't seem to have problems with Action-RPGs, I can add a few to the list:

- Ys: Memories of Celceta
- Ys: Origin
- Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir
- God Eater Resurrection
- God Eater 2 Rage Burst
- Guacamelee
- SAO Lost Song (it's WAY better than Hollow Fragment)
- Killzone: Mercenary

Havent play Child of Light Neither Ray Giant, reviews state that they are RPG and not dungeon crawlers, ill try them and review my post asap.
As for your picks, YS are one of my favorite series, starting from Ys: The Ark of Napishtim totally loved that one.

As for SAO, im totally with you, Lost Song its highger quality than Hollow Fragment.

Spelunky, Terraria, Minecraft, Super Meatboy, Hotline Miami, Hotline Miami 2, Retro City DX, Shakedown Hawaii, Nidhogg, I think The Escapists is on the system, Axiom Verge, Nathen Drake Uncharted, Playstation All Stars Battle Royale, Fat Princess, Little Big Planet 1, Little Big Planet PS Vita, a few game ports like Pacman, and similar arcade games, Don't Starve, Issac Afterbirth and that other game and many more indie games.

When you really think about how many indie games the vita has over the 3ds its kind of overwhelming. I'm surprised the console gets that much love

Well, you're not that wrong, as Dungeon Crawlers are RPGs. But Child of Light isn't a Dungeon Crawler, only Ray Gigant is.

And is always good to see some Ys love around here. Memories of Celceta have a lot of changes, but Origin plays exactly like Napishtim. If you liked it, you will like Origin as well, believe me. ;D

My definition of an RPG its most of the kind of a Final Fantasy Game. 1 turn each.
If they give you full movement of the player on the Action Phase, as example Crisis Core or Lost Song, then does not qualify as a rpg, perhaps here is where im wrong, i should have stated Turn Based RPG.

Rabi-Ribi should launch today/tomorrow on PS4 and Vita, and assuming the port doesn't suck, it's a fantastic metroidvania bullet hell game. I have 80 hours in the Steam version, if that's any indication, though that's across runs on several difficulty modes and a challenge 0% item run.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
You should update the 360 to newest dash before RGHing it yes. But not a big deal if you don't, you can install new dash/avatar updates after. It's just easier to do it auto online before, instead manual offline after.

@BigOnYa I wanted to ask you about your experience with seeing south park. Most of the people a bit younger like my younger brother and cousins that are a few younger than me that saw kids found south park funny because of the curse words, kids at school, that seemed like liking the show on a very basic level.

I could not quite have a in depth discussion of the show.

How was it for you? As an adult. What did you find the most interesting part about it. Did you relate to the parents of the kids and their situations. Was it satires, the commentary on society. The references on celebrities' and pop culture.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I remember seeing the very first episode back in the day, and have watched every episode since. I used to set my VCR to record them even, shows how long ago.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just like any comedies really, and cartoons have always been a favorite of mine. Family guy, American Dad, Futurama, Cleveland Show, Simpsons - I like them all.
