I don't think that user meant to come off as sounding sarcastic.
I appreciate you continuing the research regarding this video rom player. I hope to one day be able to put the video player to use (for more than 10 min chunks at a time

Not surprising, but that means we will not be able to make our own videos for it since that format is proprietary and no one has REd it. It's so hard to RE that a CFW was made instead in order to have subtitled videos in translation patches

I actually think we'll never be able to watch videos on our 3DS using this method, as Nintendo greedily has the patent on the Mobiclip codec...

yep, movie player after launching deletes these files. for me it is a mystery, why. I also found all the file types that it understands (should be), this is: jpg, jpeg, and moflex.
