Hacking Monster Hunter Tri freezing on startup

So I changed my wii region and started running a Monster Hunter Tri iso via Gecko IS 1.9.2 and it loads fine

Though, after it displays the Capcom logo it displays a message in Japanese (which i cannot read) and the wiimote locks up and i cannot continue past that screen.

Any help?
