i just tried metal slug anthology on the wii, when the opening movie started i noticed a very weird framerate.. it looks slow or really weird...

is this normal? anyone does have this weird framerate?
it is related because i am using a "backup" or the softmodded wii?

Sadly that is just how poorly optimized the Wii version is :(

Are you solely talking about the movie's framerate or gameplay included? Might be the backup not running as fast as the disc; causing the problems, could you compare it to a youtube video? Might also be a bad dump.
If the PS2 version doesn't have any problems I doubt the Wii one would.

in the gameplay is bad too...

but in games like zelda its fine.. i dont find the framerate "natural" it is a bit slow but sound plays ok

i tried to compare to youtube videos but i dont get a conclusion, and its hard to tell (youtubes at 30fps)

how many MB/s does the wii read? but i dont think my hdd is slow..

i will try a flash drive to make sure its not the hdd

edit: just tried in the usb stick, exactly the same thing...

what should be the best dump? scrubbed? 1:1 ?

The original games on negogeo have quite a lot of slowdown, especially MS2. I'm guessing you've played the originals and the slowdown on the wii version is more than just this.

I like the L angle connectors which add more force to it I guess which defeats the point

i only buy new ones when theres a new standard and I have gear that uses it. Otherwise my cables seem to last forever.

I like electronics that use detachable cables, that way if the cable breaks you can just swap in a new one instead of replacing the whole unit

the L hdmi adapters work great on my tv and receiver. so much less stress on the ports using them than regular cables. in that instance anyway.
