https://3ds.guide/ Follow it word for word and don't skip. Might help to read it first before you start.

Oh, this game looks really fun. I'm glad there's a translation, now I want to buy it. Always amazing to see fans do amazing work with games, I look forward to importing a copy of this.

The first post has now been updated to include the link to v1.03 that was released earlier in a reply to this thread. Nothing new there, but if you're using v1.02 please update.

Hey @WillTheLion if you dont mind me asking and everyone else here that are likely fans of the original PC game. Has there ever been a release of the PC game's soundtrack. I've searched around and I see two discs of music (Disc 1: Memories of Victoria) and (Disc 2: Memories of Ossyria). From what I understand the audio was ripped directly from the game's files but is the name of the discs fan made or does that come from somewhere else? I tried finding more of the music from the game but its always those same results and new areas have been made since the game launched which means more music is made too.

Sorry to get off topic. Its something I've been wanting to ask for a long time.

I don't know personally of any official disc releases. As far as I know only the musics files extracted from the game's install folder exists. Sorry.

following this you only need place the contents of the maple folder in where it says here

So that would be into the /luma/titles/0004000000111600/romfs folder, and enable the game patch setting for Luma. No more NTR needed it seems.

So then the maple folder would go here?
    /luma/titles/0004000000111600/romfs/maple
or should I leave it on the root of the SD card? I'm still trying to get the Luma working so I don't need to boot NTR to play.

I believe (don't have the game to check) that it's the contents of the maple folder to /luma/titles/0004000000111600/romfs. So, for instance, you'd have /luma/titles/0004000000111600/romfs/inactive, /luma/titles/0004000000111600/romfs/Movie, etc.

Ah I see, so I would need to put the contents inside the maple folder into the romfs folder. So the maple folder doesn't need to exist. I'll try that.

    Yes that worked!

    Root then like this.

Apparently, I can't load it because my N3DS is running the 11.4 version of the operating system... well, maybe someone will find a way in the future :(

You can use HANS in homebrew launcher to play with the translation.
The easiest way to enter homebrew launcher on 11.4 OFW right now is using Doodlebomb. You will need a friend who already has access to homebrew to help you, though.
Also, don't update beyond 11.4 when Nintendo release a new update. 11.4 might become hackable.

Well, I don't know anyone who modified their 3DS/N3DS in any way, they're all afraid of getting banned by Nintendo. I had no idea that was even a thing before I stumbled onto this thread.

If you search on the forum you can find Doodlebomb senders who volunteered to help people without another 3DS that already has access to homebrew to use Doodlebomb.
