Hardware Looking to get a new CPU and Motherboard.

Hi everyone I am looking to get a new motherboard and CPU. I have had mine for about 2 years so I figured it is time for an update. I have a 7970 GPU at the moment and I3 processor as well. I was looking into upgrading to a I5 and new MOBO but not sure which one as there is a few out there.

I am hoping to spend about 250-300 for both items I might just get a processor now and wait on the MOBO if that is the case I was hoping to spend about 200 for the processor. Below is links to what I currently have.

Honestly I would just stick with Sandy Bridge i5 if all you do is gaming. Gains from Ivy Bridge and Haswell are minimal for gaming purposes.
