Hi thanks for reading this.

I have a 3ds board with the p6 connecter for the microphone removed and the solder pads are damaged which means i cannot fit a new one, I Dont think I can expose the track as it looks like someone has already made a mess of it.

I was wondering if anyone had a jumper solution for this?
I did a quick google and i notice that you can use a mic connected to the headphone jack, I was thinking of maybe jumping from this, But Im not 100% sure if I can, And if I could would earphones still needed to be connected for it to function.

I have tested it with earphones with a inline mic and it works fine, so I think it might be possible, Im just unsure if a jack will have to be connected to make it activate.
