I wonder when this fad will get old. So far, there are internet humor references in Disgaea 2 (robe and wizard hat), FF4A(goons, something awful, "and by cool I mean totally sweet"), PW2 (4chan memes), and others I surely forgot.

Although the fresh clown of bel-air made me LOL.

I think it's because these games seem to be aimed at the people who seem to spread it by word of mouth on the internet. Like Summon Nights where they slipped in a LOT of references such as "I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay". It's not as if one day someone will be playing Pro Evo and suddenly the commentator will say that you're moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air. I whistled for a cab and as it came near the license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I thought that this cab was rare but I thought, nah forget it yo home to Bel Air.

Dunno if it has any effect, though. Most of us are filthy pirates anyway, and will only buy stuff on an honor system, like PW after the 354th /v/ flood.

Umm... just out of curiosity.... Where did you get the English version of PW2? I thought only the Japanese version came out? Or does it come with English as well?

Yes.... it does come with the english option and no, it's not full of engrish errors.

Yes.... it does come with the english option and no, it's not full of engrish errors.

Not full of them, but the translation's not as good as PW1 in terms of spelling and grammar.

I beleive you just use a good ol hex editor.

Or even break the files out from the rom and find the file wiith the text alone and hack that.

Best ways I know of.
Though if its encrypted, then your out of luck.
