Did u rename it? Or u deleted or renamed the save, one of those.
I have 2 questions. Might be dumb to ask but, I'm still learning about the WiiU, so I rather ask and be sure.
--Can I play my WiiU backup downloaded games from an external HDD? This method I can do on my original Wii console.
--Atm, Is there a possibility to select/start/play donwloaded WiiU games without internet access or the need to go to specific links like loadiine.ovh? I'm leaving my crappy internet provider soon and I'm hoping to still have access to the games I downloaded.
-You can play games from usb but not using loadiine. You must use the "Brazilian" method to install the games to you homescreen. This way is better than loadiine since you can update and play online no problem.
-If you want to launch homebrew channel without internet you need to buy a ds vc game and install haxchi.
Buy a ds vc game , install Homebrew launcher.. then add loadiine to that I use loadiine for eShop games ..
Starting today, I get "FSGetMountSource failed" when trying to launch the exploit. I have the latest nightly build and the latest homebrew channel. I'm using http://loadiine.ovh.
EDIT: It seems like the Homebrew Launcher RPX v2.1 is the problem. v1.4 works fine. Do I need to do anything special to use v2.1 RPX or can I just use v1.4 instead?
I got a couple of questions:
1) I've downloaded VC games from a website that has them "Loadiine ready", and they've worked. If i grab a .rom file and put it in a folder with the correct nomenclature, will it work?
2) How do i make a game "Loadiine ready"?
3) If i have a 1tb external drive, can i use it to run HBL and or Loadiine from it through USB?
Thanks in advance!
Loadliine doesn't work with USB yet.
Can anybody help me get the tcp log server getting the logs from loadiine?
I tried to get the loadiine tcp server up and running to get a log of which files a game accesses, but i don't receive any logs...
I run the server, it says listening on port 7332. I set the log server to on and my pc's ip number in loadiine gx2, but nothing comes of it...
Firewall is not blocking the loadiine server. Am i missing something?
I am unable to load Loadiine (latest "unstable" build because 0.2 is said to not work on 5.5.1). I can start HBL 1.4 using wiiubru.com/go/ just fine and I can also run other homebrew like saviine and ftpiiu. All homebrew apps I start using HBL show Mii Maker first but load after I exit Mii Maker. In the case of Loadiine however, it just opens the WiiU menu. Any idea?
What about the malware issue from the last nightlies? should i ignore it or can it seriously harm my computer?
Which build is recommended for now on FW 5.5.1?
That malware warning is probably because the builds you are using contain the browser exploit. The reason your anti-virus is panicking is because a similar exploit could potentially be used to target certain versions of Chrome, Safari and Opera.
Since we purposefully want to explout the Wii U's browser, it is safe to keep these files. Just ensure that you are downloading them from a reputable source (such as the official GitHub page).
The latest nightly (see the GitHub link mentioned above)
Actually is it firefox who warns me about the malware. Normally i got the warnings from my antivirus and not from the browser.
And yes, i always download from github. Whatever, thanks for the info
can frequent users let me know what kind of success rate you have with launching games from loadline?
it feels like 25% of the time the system freezes and i have to do a hard reset
With me, 100% boot rate if you launch the game with the A button, and just wait during the loading time (don't touch anything).
Else, try to remove the music.
what do u mean by that?
100% rate here, never had an issue booting games.
having a very strange issue that i can't seem to fix. i've been playing a lot of taiko no tatsujin...
Essentially, Loadiine will only launch Taiko's DLC if an 'update' is also enabled, which is a problem i can work around -- except that enabling an update seems to disable support for Taiko's drum peripheral... I've tried going in and messing around with the actual update files, to see if perhaps they were missing some kind of peripheral control file but that didn't help either.
(yes the first two wii u taiko games don't have updates. I actually ended up making custom updates for them, just so the DLC would launch! and it works, but the drum becomes disabled.)
i need to either figure out why the DLC only loads alongside the update, OR, figure out why the update disables the drum... does anyone have any ideas?
I have a problem with Bayonetta! I already saw a thread here which discussed the problem but it's quite old. I'm on 5.5.1E.
I have the PAL version of the game and when I start it, all cutscenes don't work and only show a white screen. I'm not sure
what to do now. Could you please help me?
I have CBHC, can I still use loadiine???? When I try the games show up but wont load,
