The dolphin news is in frontpage. And this is totally unrelated.

Pc emulation != USB loading on wii.

Oh okay, though i could update my Wii using Gx usb Loader and homebrew that i haven't updated in years.

I guess the Pc emulation is good too but that would be kinda lame not playing with out the wii remotes.

I would suggest you to look the sticky threads in the Wii hacking section for updated tutorials.

For a very long time. they are very active with it.

Nintendo are done with the Wii anyway. So, don't expect any new firmware updates anytime soon (even if it's 5.0 to possibly update the Wii Shopping Channel to the eShop).

You can update your Wii.

You can also use Wiimotes in Dolphin using a bluetooth adapter and play all the games in glorious 1080p
