Hardware Is the aqua blue 3D effect not as good as cosmo black

Hi all, this is a dumb question (or rather a good rumor which really questioned me) and I hope someone would help me clarify.

Many people have been telling me that as Aqua Blue 3DS has a lower part blue, it actually takes a little bit of the 3D away compared to the Cosmo Black one, even though the top is black. Is it true?

I suppose that would make sense but I can't see it making much of a difference. But, of course I've never even seen a 3DS so I wouldn't know...

This was a rumour among people who never played one before it came out.
They were just worried is all.

I have a blue one, my friend bought a black (same day) we've played with each others consoles, and nope: There's no difference. The screen is so immersive that you won't notice the color on the bottom screen

Nintendo originally said the colour surrounding the top screen will be black regardless of the case colour as any other colour distracts from the 3D effect. Maybe people are reading into it more than necessary and exaggerating the original comment.

People say that as the lower portion around the screen is blue (brighter than cosmo black), the 3D effect on the upper screen is affected.
