I've been looking into the PSP scene and with the whole key thingy going on a lot of hacks and new customs firmwares have been popping up.

So basically I want to know is if it was worth my money to go ahead and get a GO....I told myself I'd purchase one if it became fully hackable...Like can I run any iso and homebrew now cause thats what it sounds like....I'd of course keep my fully hacked PSP 2000

The last time I checked was about 1 1/2 years ago, a year or so after I hacked my 1000.

It wasn't possible then, but the GO was released recently and now, it could be with all the PSP hacking possibilities.

I bought one 3/4 weeks ago and I've got all (I think, all I've tried at least) PSP games running on it. Even got PSN eboots running of final fantasy 7/8 and spyro 3. So you can run signed ISO launchers, run signed homebrew launchers, run signed HEN installer.

...Hmm...If I can afford it Ill get the GO and if Im not liking how it runs as far as hacked is concerned then I'll sell it myself (and probably get more then I paid for...I have a knack for playing the market) and if I do like it I MAY sell my 2000 (I've grown attached to it as I've done some modding to it)

Of course it's not worth getting a Go in this instance, and you'd have to be a miracle worker to recoup your outlay with the popularity of the Go now the NGP and 3DS are on the horizon. Save your money....

You make a valid point...So I'll probably just save up for one cause I've always wanted one if it got hacked

Put the money towards something that does something different....what does the Go offer? Nothing......

I wouldn't get the Go if I were you. I'd rather save up money for the NGP or 3DS.

If I recall, it can run ISOs and homebrew through a ChickHEN hack or something, but you can't power down your console or you're back to OFW.

I can't remember if this applied to the 3000 and Go or the 3000 only though

Enjoying all those PSX eboots? Oh right no.

What about the old camera? Oh right no.

How about a decent battery life and the ability to swap out the battery for a second one to extend charge time for long journeys? Oh right no.

How about decent shoulder buttons and non cramped configurations for long time play? Oh right no.

What about security that you can experiment with homebrew without risking a brick? Again no.

The Go is pointless unless you're anaemic....

I was asking cause personally I like the Go's design and such and I have no problem with it. I just know it would do me no good to have on if it wasn't hacked. I thought I heard it was hacked enough to play homebrews and iso (never heard if it could do PSX)....which is the reason for this post to make sure.

And to those telling me to save...No need to cause im getting a hefty refund check and my 3DS money is already taken care of. PSP Go over a 3DS...no contest
