So my question is simple: Is it possible to read and/or inject game saves onto retail game discs from an SD? Similar to the way that you can transfer game saves from a WiiU formatted USB flash drive.

So basically I'm asking if its possible to do something like this:
Insert SD containing game save.
Copy over save to system memory in some kind of homebrew menu of which the game disc will read and boot from OR SD will act as USB flash drive and the game will immediately boot the save on the SD.

That homebrew looks pretty cool but I read up on it and it looks like you have to have a server running? Unless I misunderstood.

Nope, he is correct. It streams the save data from a server on your computer to your Wii U console (the game you want to transfer save data for needs to be in the boot process for this to work, though). Install Saviine on your console, launch Saviine Server on your PC, open the game you want to dump/inject save data for, your computer will ask if you want to dump/inject.
