Is it possible to create this for a Game Boy?

I have some DMG-Gameboy cartridges that I don't like, like NFL Blitz (black cartridge) or something along those lines.
And I was wondering if it could be possible to open the cartridge, and "hack it".

To be more explicit:
- Take any cartridge that you don't like, for the Original Gameboy, or those that are black, so they'd be compatible with Game Boy Color as well.
- Take a microSD reader, and solder it to the cartridge.
- Take a microSD and program something to make it readable by the console.
- Put roms on the microSD and play them directly from the "hacked cartridge".

Do you think it could be possible?

You can try to reflash the cart, or just buy an everdrive

In the way you describe not so much. Unlike a few newer systems there are some pretty workable means of turning various GB/GBC games into flash carts

Ideally you would have one with a given memory bank controller but you could get something done with less.
Wo-ho-ho-hoooo...
Such soldering skills.
Thank you for posting this, it'll be helpful in the future.
