Hardware IPS top screen panel swap possible? Fire Emblem Fates 3DS XL

I have an untrained eye for this sort of thing, can anyone tell me if this is tn or ips?

I can upload more photo's if necessary.

This look like a dual ips to me. The color is still vibrant in every angle. Look at the blue color on the bottom

If you tilt the same you will see 3 small light glares at the edge of the bottom screen. And the color, if its a tn, it changes the vibrant even if you tilt it a little.

Anyway here's mine, I changed the top screen to an IPS screen, bottom screen is IPS already.

I would want to get my hands on those snes n3dsxl too!haha

Its nice to have (dual IPS) but it's not really a necessity.

enter fbi first, you will see an option named titledb. click it. find a homebrew named 3dsident. it checks the screen and lots other stuff

@juan_3579 @j3yps Like I've mentioned a couple of times before, you can only get IPS Screens them via Pokemon 20th Anniversary New 3DS.

Good luck. They're close to 500$ now.

New N3DS Super Mario 3D Land Edition with serial YW7010/YW7011. Confirmed 10.7 and Dual IPS. Non-XL.

Damn, I kept telling myself I didn't care for a while, but now I really want a system with dual IPS. Hope they decide to manufacture them with dual IPS in later batches, as I have yet to purchase a new 3ds.

Apparently they only used IPS screens because TN was starting to disappear. Then, TN came back and they're Dual TN forever now.

P.S. I also found these on eBay but I dont know how someone would go about replacing the border on the screen without breaking it.

Is there anything I can do about the white border or should I just deal with it? I just don't know if it's worth the time, money and effort to hunt down a dual ips Japanese 3ds just so I can have the correct color border.
