Installing VMWare Workstation On Solus?

Hi,

I ran into a lot of errors when last trying to install VMWare Workstation 12 PRO on Solus, such as complaining about missing dependencies (even after I installed them) among other things, such as the 'No rc*.d style init script directories' error.

Could someone guide me on how to install it? I managed to install it no problem in Xubuntu 17.04 on the same machine...

(oh and the reason I am using VMWare is because it performs better than VirtualBox and Longhorn 4029 refused to install in QEMU)

Doesn't matter now because I managed to get it working, turns out I hadn't installed the right headers, lol.
