Look, we appreciate you pitching your ideas but if you have no clue how hacking works then 99% of what you're going to suggest has either already been looked at or is simply impossible.
I'll just take that you know nothing about hacking.
Whoa! Hold on there. He might be onto something. If we use a flux capacitor to tunnel through AES then the ASCII might just google the exploit from the x86. Linux.

Profit!

that patched a gateway to exploiting the system, it's not to flawed of a thought process that if you can't run the entry points in the first place that ya can't run the exploits, I would appreciate if you didn't talk down to me about what I know

Well, I sure as hell don't see there ever being support for 4.x.x homebrew, so they gotta start somewhere, no? And for those who say "it'll come later", how can you possibly know that? No one does, but prove me wrong.

Vita has had several Vita mode exploits.
Yes, most exploits are ePSP ones, some are bubbles and PS1 ones.
Out of the top of me head it's atleast PSM Dev and HENKaku for Vita mode.
With HENkaku being the most know.

Yifan himself said that the latest FW update patched a vulnerability.
However he doesn't have an exploit chain to utilize it.

In the Wii U's case, Nintendo knows about the vulnerabilities and does nothing against it.
Literally nothing.
5.5.2 took a long time and barely patched anything if anything.
I doubt 5.5.3, which patches all exploits will happen.

Hence Nintendo wants to forget their bastard child more then Sony wants to forget theirs.

I think it's less so them not trying and more so that there team they have on patching out vulns and exploits doesn't have a dam clue what it's doing

That's plain dumb, you need acess to begin with
plus you can't just put your "module" there because it wouldn't be nintendo signed
And even if you did it wouldn't be executed, it don't work like that
so you shouldn't even post your crap to begin with if you have no hacking experience whatsoever
Plus there aren't "modules"
anyway that should be mooved to EOF
i tought it was a troll in the EOF to begin with but i saw with utter disappointment that you put it in the switch section

Take the original Wii, an extremely successful console which can be hacked right on the home menu and they never patched that

Nintendo did patch the exploits.
They patched the Twilight hack quite sucessfully.
They blocked certain titleIDs from running and obviously patched modchips.
Hackers however changed a few things and exploited other savebugs.
Eventually the Wii U came about and Nintendo gave up, considered the Wii legacy.

It's a normal cycle of life.

The problem with the Wii however was that everything ran directly on the bare metal.
There's no hypervisor or any other layer that adds an extra layer of protection.

I mean the LetterBomb exploit. They never patched that on the original console

Letterbomb came pretty much in EOL for the Wii.
No wonder Nintendo didn't spend much attention to it as they where focusing completely on the Wii.

Original Xbox has 4 savegame exploits, 3 of them came in EOL of the console.
MS barely spent attention to it as the 360 was in full bloom.
