I haven't played Color Splash but I heard some say it's a slight improvement over Sticker Star but what I really want is a true sequel to TTYD but that won't happen since Shigeru Miyamoto hates stories in his Mario games. So why not take a page from games like Yooka-Laylee, Bloodstained: Ritual of The Night, and Undertale and make a spiritual successor and call it "Project Oragami". Instead of an Italian plumber, why not a French carpenter but with the same gameplay as PM64 and TTYD but instead of badges, you get rings. Seeing how well YL does, hopefully that means someone will pitch a spiritual successor to Nintendo on the NS and hopefully this time they won't go all C&D like they did with AM2R and Pokemon Uranium since this wouldn't be breaking any copyrights or trademarks.

I dunno if a cheap spinoff would be as good as Paper Mario.

Keep in mind, the games you listed have plenty of originality on their own and are primarily made by someone who's previously worked on the series it's inspired by.

Wow, maybe you should open a Kickstarter for this game, since you're really the only one who wants this.

That sounds like a cheap imitation. Creating a spiritual successor is much more than copying game mechanics, you have to also have the game have a style of its own, unique gameplay mechanics, and an original, engaging story.

Right, it's like if you were trying to make a cartoon by mixing together a Michael Keaton movie and Powerpuff Girls. You're not actually creating something "new."

Thing is , the videos work fine in the Edge Dev and Canary builds. But whatever the fix the made was, has never been piushed to Beta or Stable builds. Its been that way for as far back as I tested. Which was Edge 84. They are on 125 now.

@RedColoredStars, Yeah, and I was in quite a mood at that time. I would consider choosing Firefox or Opera instead, been using Firefox for over 7 years now than Chrome.
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
Tried contacting Nintendo to see if they can reach out to MS about it. But Nintendo said the videos are working fine. Without enough people saying no, they don't work fine, it will never get fixed.

I have Firefox and used it for many years. But Edge runs noticible faster on my pc at both opening and loading pages.
