Homebrew i found a way to convert project 64 eep save file to Wii64 eep

Ahem... can any member please modify 2 pj64 .eep files for use in Wii64? They are 512b in size, and wii64 accepts 2Kb ones

I don't think Banjo Kazooie can be used on Wii64, and I'm not sure about GoldenEye.

Also, for BK i'm about 21 jiggies so far (here is my wii64 save) but a severe lack of free time means i would prefer a ready completed save in wii64, i don't have time to finish BK again fully as in 1999

I don't think Banjo Kazooie can be used on Wii64,

it can on not64 but you can forget about tooie ever running on both of them considering what i had to do just to get it to run without crashing on the damn pc!

update
Turns out, today there was a strike at work, so i sat and finished GoldenEye on 00Agent on Not64
Here is the save, along with Tooie's complete and Banjo's (71 jiggies):

btw, tooie runs with FB textures on, although the framerate is slow. A fast SD helps somewhat though. Let's hope the next update improves things. Already Not64 is much better speedwise IMHO than Wii64

how the fuck did you get tooie to run i tried b4 on not64 it was that slow it was impossible to play?!

Its not entirely playable sure, but at least now you can go everywhere at least
use the tooie .eep file i put above.
1. Rename it correctly (if needed, i have a us rom) and put it in the wii64/saves
2. Load Not64
3. Go to settings: AUDIO--> Limit OFF
VIDEO--> FB textures ON
4. Load the ROM
5. Let it run for a few seconds, dont press anything
6. Exit to Wii64 menu and go to Settings-->Load save file
7. return to gameplay, load the save file and explore to see for yourself. Framerate is at 10-20fps so far, although the speed of your SD/USB affects that too.

It's a simple byteswap, PJ64 simply saves them as reversed dwords

Kinda quickly hacked together, but it SHOULD work fine (i tested it on my OoT save [included])

Bump.
Here's a save for 007 The World is Not Enough on the N64, for Not64.
Οnce you load the savegame, all levels are now available to play. Most of them are playable (the first level is not), bar some glitches (your gun is appearing behind scenery and there is no sound).

Unzip this and put it in /wii64/saves/ folder.


P.S. By using control preset #7 in game, and tampering with not64 button mapping, it is possible to play this like a Wii fps game (i.e. IR wiimote for aiming, A for zoom, B to shoot, nunchuck analog to move, left and right dpad to select weapons, up and down dpad to jump & crouch respectively).

1. use 1.2 control setting from the in game options in both PD and GoldenEye.
Now from Not64 settings --> Input --> Configure buttons...
2. Assign the 4 directions of the nunchuck analog to the 4 C-buttons of N64.
3. Assign IR to N64 analog stick.
4. Depending on your Wii FPS preferences, assign the other buttons. For me they are like i have them in CoDs, GoldenEye Wii and Conduits. So Wii B=Z N64=shoot, Wii A=R N64= aim, Wii - =B N64=reload, Wii Dpad right=A N64=change weapon
5.?
6.Profit!

i realize this is a super old post, but do you still have that starfox64 save? that link is dead and your "not64 savegames" link in your signature doesnt have it. you also used to have a donkeykong64 complete save as well. those and any other saves that arent in your signature link would be cool to have as well, thanks!

Hi there. i found a way to convert project 64 eep save file to Wii64 eep save file. i convert them myself with Hex Workshop. DO NOT BYTE FLIP, it dont work.

i can explain it but it a little difficult. Later, i will explain how i do it, but my english is not great, so it wont be easy to explain.

all the files i converted work. i can upload them.

i upload a Mario Party1 eep save file for Wii64 ( Mario party 1 save 100% complete )


if you insist i can convert you a few files. but be patient im not always on the net. upload your project 64 file and i will convert it to work with wii64 when i have time.



i hope i make someone happy with this file. i will upload others games later too.

note: i have all these eep save file games 100% game complete : Marioparty 2 and 3, mariokart, goldeneye, diddykongracing,mario64... i can upload them if someone want it.

note 2: i suceed to convert .sra save file too. i have a 100% complete zelda ocarina .sra save for wii64
note 3: i suceed to convert .fla save file too. ( zelda majora mask)
