It's a 120 gb phat I don't have it yet so I don't know what dash it will be on. I'm interested in RGH, I know about the x360 key ODDE but playing on live doesn't interest me, I just want to play games, xbla and run emulators. I'm having trouble finding a nand x in online stores, I know I'll need to solder. Someone point me in the right direction

I have a 2 TB hard drive i use for my wii, i do want to run games off of it, and you cannot run emulators or xbla with just a flashed drive. If i wanted to play online i probably would just flash it

NAND-X has been put out of production.
Get a JRunner programmer.

Also, upgrade the internal harddisk.
Far more convenient and quicker then an external.

Ok i found out that i just really dont trust my soldering skills and i found a service that would install all the chips ( and provide them) for 70 dollars 15 dollars to ship considering the cost of the nand x/jrunner and the coolrunner revision c, the fact that i have a shitty soldering iron with only big tips, no flux etc i would have to get stuff there, i think it might be better for me to get a pro to do it for me, Im interested in the R-jtag but i like your idea of upgrading the internal hard drive, saw a video on youtube and its so simple my 5 year old daughter could do it.

R-JTAG is slightly quicker then RGH.
And is used for post 15574 dashes.

Any sized 2.5 inch drive fits in the caddy.
Just reinstall Freestyle dash and you'll be good to go ;]
