This is a handy little app, but I can't imagine using it to transfer game images. I only use it for game cover images and wads. How long does it take to transfer 4.5gb?

i don't know what you'd do with an iso once you got it there. But really depends on your speed. I can only manage around 200kbps when writing to USB. If i'm writing to SD i generally only get ~42kbps.

It takes almost 2.5 minutes to copy mplayer's dol to my sdcard. So ya.. 4.5gb would take a long minute.

You wouldn't copy a game to it, you would copy from it. Use a disc dumper to dump to SD, then ftpii it to your pc for burning or whatever.

This may be a good thing for me to try out.

My Wii is right next to my computer and I have a card reader but its not great for the SD card to remove it and put it back in all the time.

However can anybody remember the program that lets the wii read files on your computer, thats even better in my case. Instead of using up space on my SD card that I do not have, just let the files be on my PC and network into it.

its works for me mate , if it would not work i would not publish this wad, its shows both system files and sd card files.
dont fortget to set yp a password

ive gone through EVERY step from the beginning to the Send Elf side of the ftpii and yet i cant get anything right!!!!! >=( i keep getting CLIENT DISCONNECTED and on my comp., it stops asking me for password!!!! RAWR!!!
at the moment, i am just repeatedly hitting enter, filling my tv screen with multiples of these:

only slight difference is that instead of port 21, i typed in port 4299 in the TCPLoader as 21 wasnt doing it for me

I currently have a wireless router that was just collecting dust, so i figured i could use it to network my PC and my Wii with FTPii, unfortunately when i try to connect my wii to the wireless router, it tells me it couldn't connect to the internet. I have no internet modem connected to the router, was hoping to just use the router for FTPii. Is this possible?

ok so, i did everything the tutorial says, i double, triple, and even quadruple checked everything, but alas I still can't get this to work, when I click connect in FireFTP, nothing happens, nothing at all :/

Any Help?

i have a 64-bit version of win 7, and I can only get it to work using a windows XP virtual machine

But are we going to see an updated guide for ftpii.21?

also for phoenix345's problem finder has a strange way of reading ftps and it probably longed you in as a guest with read only.
just get an ftp client.

Any recommendation to use port or passive mode,

I found that I can not download with either mode and also when I disconnect I can not reconnect again with out first stopping the FTP server and starting it again.
